The highlight of my week was when I went to Barnes + Noble, one of 4 bookstores within walking distance, to investigate some potential texts for a syllabus for a seminar that Kazys is teaching in the fall....
...only to find Sex And The City (Bushnell) shelved next to texts by Judith Butler. Twice. In cultural studies and gender studies.
P.S. Hey, Libraries - would you consider staying open past 5pm? Thanks.

scanning barcode

Mark Shepard's phone scanning in a two-dimensional barcode from Netlab visiting scholar Philipp Hoppe's denCity project. The barcode would be printed out and attached to a location. Scanning in the code will provide the user with information about that place and links to other related places also.
